03 / THE REWARD TRAIL
A reward curve
that keeps moving.
Fenrune has no fixed block count. The network keeps the adventure alive with a predictable reward curve tied to validated difficulty.
Maximum reward
The starting reward for a block is capped at 0.5 FNRN. It is a ceiling, not a promise of earnings.
As difficulty doubles
Every time network difficulty doubles, the block reward drops by 20%. The rule is deterministic and checked by every node.
Permanent floor
The reward never falls below 0.0005 FNRN, so blocks remain available without a hard supply stop.
Low transaction fees
The default relay minimum is 100 atomic units per 1,000 mass. A typical transaction starts around one millionth of an FNRN.

These examples show the rule at each difficulty doubling. Actual rewards are calculated from the block difficulty, with integer rounding and the 0.0005 FNRN floor.
